Preaching
Elder Robert Collins Smiles After Fall . . . Great Loss of
B-l-o-o-d!
|
Birmingham, Alabama, 23-December-2010.
Following the fall Tuesday night by Ann Gazulis in Modesto,
California, the next night Preaching
Elder Robert Collins who is
presently hospitalized with c-a-n-c-e-r, fell while in
the bathroom
at the hospital. He, like Ann Gazulis, hit on
his forehead
as he
fell -- and he also injured his left arm.
In the picture to your right, Mr. Collins -- after losing much b-l-o-o-d
-- waves from his
hospital bed (picture taken approximately one
hour after his fall).
Mr. Collins will appreciate our prayers that God will
restore within him or help him to rebuild a lot of the b-l-o-o-d
that he lost
just before a
hospital helper found Mr. Collins lying on the floor -- in a big pool of
b-l-o-o-d.
If we by our individual prayers collectively move God to
intervene expediously for Mr. Collins, it could help him to
realize his wish, God
willing, that Mr. Collins be released soon back to his home* instead of
to a
nursing home (which his M.D. is considering putting him into).
Last
night's fall is a set-back against Mr. Collins being released to his
home* -- unless God intervenes.
This afternoon, Mr. Collins was anointed with oil by a
fellow minister -- so he's now done the
first part of the two steps of James 5 for healing (the
part at James 5:14)
which is a prerequisite
to
the second part (the part at James 5:16 et seq.) which is our part --
for which Mr. Collins is asking. He's asking for our
prayers
as his fellow brethren to complete the two-steps that
God
directs for us, His Body, to do to
receive His healing
intervention. Let's help Mr. Collins be healed from this by
our
part in asking God for it.
*Mr.
Collins wants to be in his home so that he can learn and do those
things referred to generally in last
week's update that God expects us to do to help eliminate
the causes
of serious illnesses -- including the dreaded C-word illness.
Mr. Collins knows he needs immediate intervention or else
this
fall with its resulting major b-l-o-o-d loss at a
time when
his body is full of
c-a-n-c-e-r may
serve to greatly lessen his
days in
the flesh. See the video in
the upper right
column to help you know Mr. Collins a little better -- and how much he
will indeed appreciate your prayers for his wife and himself at this
time.
The hospital says that Mr. Collins' wife, Sarah, also in the hospital
(with three broken bones in the pelvic area and just down the hall a
few
doors from her husband), is mending according to schedule (with about
three to four more weeks to go before the bones are expected to be back
to ''normal''). Watch future issues here for more on both the
Collins.

Bad
Fall Tuesday Night by Ann Gazulis
|
An u-r-g-e-n-t request for prayer for Ann Gazulis
was made yesterday
following a fall from her wheelchair the night before that
left
her with a bump on her forehead, a bruised
left elbow, scraped arm and then weeping legs.
.
As Mr. Collins noted with the two falls happening in succession two
nights in a row, one after the other, we would do well to be praying
for one another's protection.
And for sure let's back up Ann Gazluis and Mr. & Mrs.
Collins
(all in a hospital) and others with health needs by prayer for
their healing.
As was reported in yesterday's
u-r-g-e-n-t request for prayer,
Ann
Gazulis
was one of the first baptized members of the Church of God in the
Stockton-Modesto church-area. We'll be looking to Ann's close friend
Wanda Bedwell for an update.
