Faithful Sabbath & HolyDay-observing COG Minister Robert Collins visits his wife Sara in a Birmingham, Alabama, hospital (St. Vincent's) on her last day there. Mr. Collins has visited his wife in this hospital for a few hours nearly everyday since his release from the same hospital on 21 Jan 2011.
If you click on the picture, it should bring up a video that shows a few minutes of this visit.

THIS WEEK'S ''PRAYER REQUEST UPDATE'':
(18-February-2011 Issue)
Minutes later the hospital transferred Mrs. Collins to the local county-owned Cooper Green Mercy Hospital where doctors will lower the amount of drugs they've been giving to Mrs. Collins. Her husband has gone completely 100 percent off his drugs after learning that they're only poisons and any good they may seem to do is often offset by their creation of other problems which the medical attempts to resolve by adding on more and more drugs that seem to ''cure'' one symptom while creating more and more problem side effects and symptoms ''resolved'' by more and more drugs causing more problems until you finally just die.
After a short stay at Cooper Green for elimination and reduction of the many drugs that her previous hospital doctor was giving Mrs. Collins at the former hospital, the plan is to transfer her to physical therapy rehabilitation at a facility in the city of Alabaster, Alabama, where the Collins live.
NOTE: We have not yet been able to find the end pieces for the electric hospital bed frame and motor that we found at one thirft store, but we were able to purchase a full hospital bed including new matress and everything in an online auction. We have to pick it up at the Georgia State University in Americus, Georgia. The University will not ship it to us. I was going to break down the bed and pick it up in my station wagon but the third and fourth gears of my transmission just went out. I then bought a new battery for my dad's truck but the engine is frozen up. Your prayers that I can get one or both vehicles in shape to make the round trip to Georgia to pick up the bed will be much appreciated. Mr. Collins wants to make the trip with me as he presently still needs my continued help in making his meals, etc., etc. If God would help us in another way -- for example, if someone just happened to be coming here in a truck by way of Americus, Georgia, and could pick up that bed -- that would be great.
I purchased a rolling dining tray in an online auction. It has arrived and is working well for us. Hospice can pick up theirs now.
Thank you again for your prayers. Mr. Collins has postponed his next live video from his home on the Sabbath via the video page at: http://www.COGTV.org until the first Sabbath in March 2011. See the schedule on that page for times in your area code. An equipment test will be done on 26-February-2011. If you want to give us feedback, write to me for the times of those tests (SLG -a-t- COGTV d-o-t org).
You may check back here for further updating during the week as things may be developing throughout the week.
You can send cards of encouragement to Mr. or Mrs. Collins directly to their home address as follows:
Thanks for the card from Jann and her mom in Eugene, Oregon!
Thanks for the Health Juicer from Pat & Dot in Shelby, Alabama!
